Ring stamped DG for $5

I foud and this ring for $5 when buying some vintage bling from a local who collects the stuff.

I loved its simplicity and shape. It's stamped DG with a copyright symbol inside.

Can't be Dolce and Gabbana!!

Have any jewellery junkies out there seen the DG stamp on retro bling?

Would love more info on it.
